Pre-Surgical Evaluations
We offer several types of specialty evaluations useful for people concerned about specific problems. It is quite common to require a psychological evaluation before certain medical procedures, and we conduct assessments for patients prior to bariatric procedures and implanting spinal stimulators. These evaluations involve completing a set of questionnaires and an interview with a clinical psychologist, and they can be conducted in person or by video.

Memory Evaluations
Memory evaluations are for those concerned about the possibility of dementia. These evaluations are conducted only in the office because they typically involve interactions with the patient that are not possible by video.

Psychoeducational Evaluations
We offer psychoeducational evaluations conducted in the office or by video. These evaluations are useful for identifying specific learning disorders in the areas of reading (dyslexia), math (dyscalculia), and written language (dysgraphia). These evaluations are often coupled with an ADHD evaluation for a global assessment of learning abilities. The psychoeducational evaluations are sometimes scheduled in two sessions, depending on the testing tolerance of the child.
